Yargus Manufacturing, Inc. adds key personnel
Marshall, Ill. - Yargus Manufacturing, Inc., which produces the Layco line of material handling equipment, has announced the addition of three members to its staff.
For its sales team, Yargus has made Mark Anderson the new Domestic Sales Manager. Mark oversees the company's distributors and assists them with sales and service throughout the United States and Canada. Involved in the agriculture industry for the last 26 years, Mark joined the Yargus team in December 2007 after covering a territory and working with Ranco Fertiservice for 21 years. Owner Larry Yargus said, "We're excited to have Mark with us and look forward to seeing what he brings from his past experiences to Yargus Manufacturing."
Also joining the sales team is Margaret "Meg" Yargus, who will be responsible for sales in Southern Illinois, Indiana and Ohio when Jack Shawver retires at the end of this year. Meg joined the family company on January 1, 2009. She is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind., with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. Previously she worked in the retail industry for Nordstrom as a Sales Manager. "We're pleased to have another Yargus daughter working with the company and look forward to the future sales she brings," Larry Yargus said.
Tim McConchie has taken on duties as Project Manager for Yargus. Joining the company in July, he began working with the sales team, engineers, contractors and customers to collaborate on projects and ensure customer satisfaction and services. Larry Yargus explained, "We're looking forward to having Tim as a part of our team and helping the company continue to be the number one provider for material handling equipment in the agriculture industry." Tim had worked for 16 years with TRW in Marshall, Ill. He graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind., with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Technology.
Yargus Manufacturing has consistently provided the domestic and international fertilizer industry with innovative blending and conveying equipment from its five-acre complex in Marshall, Ill. Now in its 41st year, the company has expanded its Layco line to include such innovative products as the versatile Volumetric Blender, Declining Weight Blender and Tower Blend Systems. At the same time it has developed an expertise for turn-key projects, supplying all the in-loading, in-plant, blending and out-loading equipment, custom designed for each application.
